Let’s face it, full service catering can be expensive and it’s certainly worth it for the right occasion, but not every occasion requires this level of service (unless, of course, that’s what you want!). We offer a diverse portfolio of catering services ranging from the casual delivery all the way up to a fully serviced and staffed event. This “Catering Chronicles” post will briefly detail out our service styles.

Fully Serviced Events
A full service event with Easy Entertaining means that there are service staff, chefs and, in most cases, event leads on-site during your event. In the case of hosting a fully serviced event with us, our team will take care of certain set up and break down responsibilities as they pertain to food as well as table settings, trash removal where required, beverage services, etc. A full service event with Easy Entertaining is the least amount of work for you!
What occasions are fully serviced events appropriate for?
We’re glad you asked! You could consider full service catering for an occasion, really, where you want to do the least amount of work.
Generally speaking, these services are most appropriate for weddings, galas, and large-scale fundraisers, to name a few. However, we would also recommend these services for cocktail parties, birthday celebrations, anniversaries and more where the budget allows.
Drop and Style Services
Our Drop and Style service is a styled delivery of ready-to-eat menu items. This service includes the rental of our service ware for a fully styled food display with a white linen, disposable palm leaf plates and a printed, framed menu sign as well as the labor of warming food (where applicable) and setting up the styled food table.
What occasions are appropriate for Drop and Style services?
Another good question! Drop and Styles are great for so many occasions and budgets because it’s a great hybrid service where your food delivery is more aesthetically pleasing than a standard delivery may be, but you don’t have to have staff present to tend to the food!
We’d recommend this service for weekday networking events, more casual cocktail parties, birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, wedding showers and baby showers to name a few.
A la Carte Pick Up and Delivery
Easy Entertaining offers a variety of menu items available for delivery or pick up at our headquarters in Providence. These menu items are always delivered or picked up cold for clients to serve on their own accord. We do provide reheating instructions when necessary.
All items are served in our bio-degradable palm leaf boxes unless they require reheating, in which case those items are served in disposable, oven-safe aluminum pans.
What Occasions are appropriate for Pick Up and Delivery?
Pick up and delivery services are great for your most casual occasions or for when you’re entertaining at home and don’t want to do all of the cooking. If you’re having a dinner party you can order from us, reheat on your own and serve on your own platters. Take the credit for making entertaining super effortless and your guests will be none the wiser. ;)
Warm Packages for Delivery
Certain packages on our menus are available for warm delivery to your home or event venue. In this case, the delivery is still disposable as noted above, but we will warm any applicable menu item prior to delivery and transport them directly to you. These packages include disposable wire chaffers to keep your food items at an appropriate temperature for consumption. Anything that’s not required to be warm will be delivered cold.
What Occasions are appropriate for warm delivery?
Similar to the aforementioned pick up and delivery services, this warm delivery service is great for more informal celebrations at your home or an event venue that allows food delivery.
Corporate Weekday Deliveries
Last but not least, our corporate breakfast and lunch packages are available for delivery Monday - Friday for corporate functions only. Cold or room temperature items are served in our bio-degradable palm leaf boxes. Hot items are delivered warm and set up in disposable wire chaffing dishes to keep applicable menu items warm.
What Occasions are appropriate for Corporate Packages?
Our corporate offerings are great for any in-office occasion or off-site retreat.
